About Threads

Welcome!  My name is Amber and I am the author of this somewhat disjointed web of ideas that I call Threads.  Threads for me is really a journey.  It is a pulling together of all the different parts that make up my life with my husband, in attempt to somehow make sense of all that it is. I am a follower of Christ, still learning where He is leading me and being thankful for the blessings I have had along the way.  I am a person without all the answers, wanting to hear your thoughts as I share mine. I am a lifelong learner, gaining understanding from both successes and failures, experiences and conversations.

So Why Threads?
Threads: That which runs through the whole course of something, connecting successive parts.
Threads: A set of posts on a newsgroup, composed of an initial post about a topic and all responses to it.
Threads: Passes one end of a thread through the eye of a needle.  Matthew 19:24
Threads: A line or string that links together actual items, episodes, or thoughts, collectively, and carries the theme along with it.
