Snooze, an AM eatery, is our favorite place to grab breakfast in Denver. We first started going to Snooze when we found out they had a menu that reminded us of a breakfast place we love in Chicago (Wicker Park) called the Bongo Room. We thought we would never find pancakes that could rival the Bongo Room until we first tried Snooze.
Located in downtown Denver right near Coors Field, Snooze is always busy and often has a long wait to get in. The wait is longest on weekends of course, but can also get long on a weekday depending on what time you go. We always wait, no matter how long, because the breakfast is definitely worth it. Snooze has coffee and water avaliable while you wait and you can also order drinks at the bar. We love just hanging out, sipping some coffee, and people watching.
Snooze has a great menu. When visiting for the first time you will find that their pancakes are very unique and many sound almost like dessert. They have the regular pancakes on the menu, and also a pancake of the day. Generally after hearing the waitress describe the pancake of the day, we can’t resist and order it. It is fun to try something new each time! We also love the breakfast burrito. 5280 Magazine recommends that you try the breakfast tacos.
So why this quick post about Snooze? Well first, we definitely love it! Second however, Snooze is opening a second restaurant in Cherry Creek tomorrow, July 31, 2009. Check out Snooze’s website for the address and other details about the new restaurant.
Definitely try Snooze and let me know what you think. Also, if you are already a Snooze goer, let me know what you like to order. I always love trying something new.

I will definitely have to try those! I just read about them on the menu and now I am hungry. Thanks for your comment.
